Reiki Self-Healing Meditation, Ruth Chambers

This CD is designed for you to use for your daily Reiki healing practice and is particularly suited to practitioners who have just had their first attunement. However it is a simple meditation for anyone interested in self healing to use and bring themselves relaxation and inner peace. Ruth gives you instructions for the hand positions and tells you the beneficial effects of each one, naming the Chakra's and the areas of the body they govern.

If you prefer to use visualisation for your healing Ruth tells you how to do this on the CD. The music will help you to relax deeply into meditation to gain the most benefit from this time you have given yourself.

Reiki is a gateway to universal life force energy. It integrates your mind body and soul and takes you to new levels of consciousness. If you havent done so already do give yourself the gift of Reiki training which will make any self healing you do much more effective and powerful.

These two meditations are specially designed for people who have had a Reiki 2 Attunement. These are very deep meditations which are not designed to be used together in one session so please just pick whichever one feels right on the day and enjoy it.

The first meditation brings in grounding Earth energy and then uplifting Sky energy. It is a good meditation to use regularly to balance and energise. It can have a dramatic effect on your own energy levels.

The second meditation uses the 3 Reiki symbols taught at the second level. These symbols are very powerful and contacting them in this way strengthens your connection to their energies. This very effective meditation will give a real boost to your spiritual efforts as you continue on your Reiki path. You will gain relaxation and mental calmness, clarity and an increased ability to visualize. You will also find your intuition, clairvoyance and healing power increased. Once you are used to working with the symbols in this way you'll find that you have your own ideas which you want to develop and which will develop you.

Yoga Nidra Meditation, Ruth Chambers
Sometimes known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra takes you to a state between being asleep and awake whilst you are guided to take your consciousness on a journey around the body. Yoga Nidra stimulates the brain by heightening awareness of the body and clearing all the nerve pathways to the brain. This practice releases all tensions; muscular, mental and emotional and brings deep relaxation. It is really helpful for anxiety and depression and insomnia.

In this relaxed state you are highly suggestible so you can set a resolve or resolution at the beginning and recall it at the end. You'll be asked to be aware of your breathing and to rotate your consciousness through the body. Then you'll experience sensations of heat and cold, heaviness and lighness. To finish there's a lovely heart healing guided visualisation. Most people find that even if they normally find it difficult to visualise during Yoga Nidra it becomes easy.

Ruth quietly and gently takes you on this journey so that all you have to do is lie back, follow the instructions and enjoy the experience. You will end the practice feeling relaxed and refreshed.
